For a while now, I’ve sensed a change coming. So much has already changed in recent years. For instance, I moved seven times in nine years and have been led to a place where I can find peace and settle down after nearly a decade of, so to speak, living out of boxes. Although I know it’s about the journey and not the destination, I can’t wholeheartedly say that I’ve thoroughly enjoyed this time.

What is a blessing, and I’m well aware of this, is that I feel I’ve found my place within myself. In other words, I’ve come home to myself. It was a time of hard work; layers were peeled away, my entire existence was literally shaken up several times, but now… perhaps the time has come to come to a standstill and, in the meantime, learn to enjoy what is. Those tiniest little things that can amaze and move you. And so this morning, after intensely hot days, I was catching my breath during my meditation and heard:

Being okay with yourself is your greatest asset, and I feel that in every fiber of my being. The idea that something beautiful may come my way through this focus on myself is a visualization that may begin to take shape. I’ve grown, I know what I’m capable of, I believe in myself, and I’m more than okay with that. By now, I feel that the biggest change has taken place within me. And that’s a pure win. I’m definitely at peace with that.
